Unfortunately, (or fortunately dependent on your persuasion), teachers are no longer omniscient

For almost the first time in history;

• it is virtually impossible for teachers to keep up with all of the ICT advances and opportunities that are occuring
• the number of digital resources that are available to the classroom is increasing exponentially 
• students are potentially more skilled than their teachers

The best way to overcome these problem is to use Social Networking tools and build a PLN.

Use;

• Diigo or Delicious to store and share URL's
• Twitter to tap into and leverage
• Skype to make contacts
• Blogs and/or wikis as spaces to share, store, display, explore
• Find out about Nings
